USB-2XT
The USB-2XT probe adapter facilitates "industrial-strength" probing of USB2.0/1.1/1.0 systems when used with Tektronix TLA5xxx/6xx/7xx/7xxx logic analyzers.
The USB-2XT, a cost-effective redesign of our earlier USB-2XP product series,
incorporates the following key features (features vary by model):
Highest-performance USB2.0/1.1/1.0 analyzer available for probing high-speed, full-speed and low-speed bus traffic
Facilitates acquisition and display of all aspects of USB2.0 bus behavior, including
chirp (speed-negotiation) protocol, with seamless tracking of USB2.0/1.1/1.0 domains
Hierarchical presentation of bus activity: events & packets; transactions; control transfers, including device class decoding
Continuously tracks bus utilization and error statistics on address or endpoint basis, with results reportable continually
Real-time triggering and selective acquisition based on bus packet and event activity, including error conditions
Transaction tagging of any combination of twenty-two different transaction types
(such as Ping...NAK, Out...NAK and In...NAK), facilitating non-acquisition of uninteresting bus transaction activity
Hardware assist for basic logic analyzer trigger capabilities
Bus activity and status monitoring, independent of bus activity acquisition
Vbus voltage and current monitoring and triggering
Monitors up to two USB connections, using one or two acquisition modules
34- and 68-channel acquisition modules supported (68 channels recommended), including support for use of two 34-channel modules
Logic analyzer probe connection flexibility; accepts P6434 (Mictor) probes,
P6860-type probes (when using 020-2457-00 adapters (available from Tektronix)),
or P6960 (D-Max) probes (when using NEX-HDSWIZP69 adapters (available from Nexus Technology))
USB powered and controlled; probe adapter hardware functionality is managed by stand-alone control software via the USB-control connection
